Jennifer Graf, coloratura soprano, is at home in many vocal genres including opera, operetta, oratorio, early music, and musical theatre.

Some of her favorite roles performed include Madame Hart (The Impresario), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Blonda (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Musetta (La Boheme), Frasquita (Carmen), and Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann). Musical theatre credits include Meet Me in St. Louis, Camelot and Oklahoma!

Ms. Graf sang the soprano solos in Vivaldi’s Gloria and Magnificat and in Mozart’s Requiem with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, and was first soprano soloist for Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with the Philadelphia Classical Symphony. She has performed as soprano soloist in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and in Handel’s Messiah, both with the Ama Deus Ensemble.

Jennifer also has extensive experience singing and performing early music. She is a member, and featured soloist, of the Vox Renaissance Consort, located in southeastern Pennsylvania. Jennifer frequently sang and studied early music while pursuing her graduate degree in Boston, and was president of the West Chester University Chamber Choir, which specialized in music of the Renaissance.

In August of 2007, Jennifer performed the role of Phyllis in Iolanthe at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton, England. Her first solo CD, Tidings of Christmas, was released in the fall of 2006. She is also founder and general director of Olde Towne Carolers and Olde Towne Performances, specializing in holiday performances and year-round entertainment.

Jennifer, a native of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, currently resides in Hellertown, Pennsylvania with her husband, Brian Smith. She earned her Master’s Degree from The New England Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance and she studies voice with Dr. Kathryn Chilcote.
